If you'd just like to remove the in game music and play your own music separately, you can find "No Music" mods in the downloads page that were made using this process, but replace the music with completely silent audio. It won't remove the character select music, but it does remove the rest.

You'll need:

• Java
• Audacity
• Custom Mix Pack (pre-made script to inject your own music)

This part is all on you, but you can reference the tables below for what music there is in the game and what tracks you want to put where. As a rule of thumb, you should replace all 1P arcade music and 2P VS music, but you can leave the minigame, credits, and game over music alone.

• Names were sourced from The Cutting Room Floor. They didn't list their sources to verify, since I'm pretty sure A.XAP[15] isn't titled "Reapermon's Den".
• …and no, "Reapermon's Den" does not always play on the stage of the same name, as the title suggests. The song is chosen purely based on the character matchup, and not the stage for 2P VS music.
• A.XAP[11] and A.XAP[12] are only heard when using the alternate/young tamer for most Adventure Digimon (hold L! or R1 while selecting character), so they aren't likely to be heard.
• A.XAP[13] is the most likely to be heard of all 2P VS music, since that theme is for when both players play as Adventure Digimon with the older tamers (most characters in the game).

When you go to repack the music back into the game, it must be of the same length, and same sample rate as the song it is replacing. You'll have to repeat this process for each song, but here is what you need to do for each song (you are free to make any other edits to the track that you'd like first):

• Drag the song on top of audacity (hit the play button to make sure you got the right song)
• Drag in the original song it is going to replace (You can find them in the A.XAP folder, make a backup!)
• If the new song is shorter than the original song, select (click and drag) from the end of the new song to the end of the original song, then at the top, click Generate → Silence. Then click okay on the pop up that appears. The new song should now be just as long as the original song.
• If the new song is longer than the original song, select from the end of the new song to the end of the original song, and cut (ctrl x or Edit → Cut) so the the new song is now shortened to be as long as the original song.
• Click on the X in the top left of the box for the original song to remove it so you just have your new song.
• At the bottom left of the window, change the Project Rate (Hz) to 37800 Hz.
• Finally, at the top, File → Export → Export as wav. Save it to the MUSIC IN folder, with the same file name as the original song (Ex: A.XAP[0].wav)
• When the metadata pop up appears, just click okay. None of that matters.

Run repack.bat (Windows) or repack.sh (Linux), and wait for it to do its magic. Keep an eye out for any errors, there shouldn't be any if you did step 1 right. Once its done, your new bin file will be in the MIX BIN OUT folder.

To hear your new mix in netplay, go into the data folder of the netplay pack and move or rename Digimon Rumble Arena (US).bin, then move in your new bin file.

Of course, if you don't want to make your own mixs, you can just get someone else's.
